Why has America Whitewashed the REAL historical record of Ronald Reagan?

Reagan probably did not have a clue about any of this. His administration was run by renegades who used their influence to steal everything in sight and otherwise promote their conservative political agendas. Reagan was an actor who mostly made speeches and left administration to others. He was highly thought of for honesty because it was generally understood he wasn`t intelligent enough to be devious.
