Art recommendations please?

Well it really depends on what period of art history sculpture you enjoy. Is there a certain time period, a certain region in the world? Because there is so many important pieces of sculpture in the world, but for different things. In Egypt I'd say the statue of Khafre is the most important. Hellenistic Greece I'd say a very important piece is Laocoon and his sons along with Nike of Samothrace. In Roman times I'd say the Portrait of Augustus from Primaporta. In Gothic times, Virgin of Paris. In 15th century Italy, i'd say the reliefs on the Gates of Paradise Baptistery- Ghiberti and Donatello's David. In the High Renaissance any of Michelangelo's work. 19th century- any work by Rodin. Early 20th century- Giacometti's work andBoccioni's Unique forms of Continuity in Space...and then into the modernism. But that is a basic overview.
