How do people get accepted in Canadian universities?

I'm planning to study in Canada but I have no idea how the education in Canada works. I mean, I'm Vietnamese and I graduated from high school a year ago. My GPA in high school was quite good and I have Toefl ibt 85 . If I want to study in McGill university, what will I have to do?
