I am Friendless in high school?

Well i just switched to my new school. I'm a sopre, i use to have friends at my old school, we lost contact with each other. I know some people at my school, but i don't really talk to them. I hate lunch time cause i'm all by myself looking like a loser doing my homework. I'm not a shy person its just that there is really nothing to talk about. There is a person i talk but she is a depressing person. With my luck i did have one friend in school but she transfered. i can't really relate to my clmates. I just i don't talk to people in my cl because i don't feel comfortable with them. I'm not really into joining any team or club. Everyone seems to have there own group and they don't really welcome you in. When i first came to that school it was like i don't really care who you are. Does this make me a loser?Have any of you experienced this? Give me some words of wisdom.
