Sneaking alcohol or what not on a cruise ship?

I am going on a cruise sometime in the near future, with the cruiseship line, celebrity cruises, and i am just wondering if anyone knows how tight the security is when getting on it, I am not legal age to drink seeing as the crusie crosses into u.s. waters out of canada, so i would like to sneak alcohol on in my suitcase as well as some other things... Would this be possible? do they search your bags? Any tidbits of info is greatly appreciated
