Lousy Pathetic Parents woun't change.?

Wow, you sound like a bright kid who got stuck in a really lousy family. I'm not sure what to tell you except that since you're aware that you're not being taught these skills at home, you'll have to find a way to learn them on your own. Does your school teach driver's ed and accounting? Make those your electives. It also wouldn't hurt to take a home ec cl to learn how to manage a household on your own so you can get out of there asap. And the next time you get a job, find the bank that's closest to where you work and stick your check in there before you go home. Keep out a few bucks for your folks to mooch and keep the rest of your spending money well hidden. Then just tell them you don't have any more. It's gonna take a lot of strength and determination to rise above the situation you're coming from but, really, you sound like the person who can do it. Just believe in yourself and learn to rely on yourself for everything you need. These are traits that will serve you well for the rest of your life. Best of luck.
