I am taking 100 mcg of Synthroid, Dr is upping it to 125 mcg.....will this give me more energy? ?

I had a thyroidectomy 3 weeks ago. The doctor is upping my dose to 125 mcg. Will this slight increase give me more energy...boost metabolism? Increase done to treat me more aggressively.
