Do jobs you are applying for really look at your High School GPA?

I have had a LOT of stuff going on in my life recently and my grades are suffering, I just got my interim For my 3rd term of my 10th grade year and it is... Not good at all. I am working on bringing my GPA back up and I know I can and will, but I am applying for a job at Tuti Fruti Frozen Yogurt and they asked for my GPA on the application. So I'm wondering, do they really even look at your GPA? Or can I just lie and say it's better than it is at the moment? I don't want to look dumb and I want to impress them, this is my first job and I really need it to help with rent. Please help.
