Can i get sued for driving while someone is holding on to the back of my car and then that person gets hurt?

okay im 18 and my friends little brother had come over to skate i was going to drop my friends off at their house but then my little brother and his friend garbed on to the back of my car, i didnt tell them to but i didnt tell them to get off... my brothers friend fell off his skate board and got some major burns and scs from the street and speed (i was going 30) what can happen to me? im 18 and my brothers friend is 14 or 15 i forgot...
